Rob Wingerter is founder and president of Mahseh Ministries, Inc., which has operated a Christian retreat and study center in rural northern Indiana since 2006. Rob is a CPA and attorney as well as a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Covenant Theological Seminary. For thirty-seven years, Rob worked at Ernst & Young, one of the “Big Four” accounting firms. He held several leadership positions including Office Managing Partner of the Indianapolis office, Indiana Tax Practice Leader and was a member of firms National Partner Advisory Council, a position he was elected to by his fellow partners. Rob retired from the firm in 2012 and has been performing business advisory services for various companies and teaching at the Kelley Business School at Indiana University since then in addition to his work at Mahseh.

Rob is very active in the community having served on the board and various leadership positions of Wheeler Mission Ministries, University of Indianapolis, Zionsville Community Schools, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, United Way of Central Indiana, Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Hope Ministries and of course Mahseh Ministries, Inc. For his 20 years of service to the community of Zionsville, an elementary school in the district had his name added to it to become Robert B. Wingerter Union Elementary School.

Rob is the father of four adult children and the grandfather of eight (and counting). He and his wife Debbie have been married for thirty-eight years.

Rob has always been deeply interested in the spiritual development of those around him. Along with Debbie they founded Mahseh in order to provide a unique place for people to grow in their relationship with God and “regain their spiritual poise”.
